OUR HISTORY
Steelwings South Africa has a proud heritage rooted in a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, friendship and the open road.
The Johannesburg chapter has documented its roots as far back as 1991, with a strong tradition of independence, camaraderie and respect for the Steelwings motorcycle club’s constitution. Over the years, Steelwings has grown into a chapter-based community, bringing together Harley-Davidson enthusiasts from different regions of South Africa.
More than a motorcycle club, Steelwings is a community built on shared experiences, memorable rides, social gatherings and lasting friendships. Its chapters have also demonstrated a commitment to giving back, supporting charitable initiatives and making a positive difference in the communities they call home.
Today, Steelwings continues to celebrate the spirit of Harley-Davidson ownership: the freedom to ride, the strength of friendship and the road travelled together.
